Ok, here is the case. I invested around €20 euro in adwords and made around 60€ on sales before i got slapped with quality score 1. Next month I have set aside 100€ for adverising purposes to experiment. Does anyone knows LookSmart PPC, does it utilize a quality score system? Does anyone know a good network that dont have quality score to invest my €100? It would be great if the network accepted paypal, but not vital thanks in advance
That was a great return on investment you made in adwords. why would you not want to stick with them, boost your QS and keep banking?
Because he got a QS=1. His landing page is probably contains affiliate links. Pretty much all PPC services I know use a variation of quality score. And they all have their own slightly different but similar policies. A quick search on Looksmart's site and you'll find this page: adcenter.looksmart.com/help with policies and guidelines very similar to Adwords. As for ranking and quality, they spell it out: determined by multiplying each ad's max CPC and CTR. Just like Adwords whose QS is mostly CTR. They also suggests your keywords have to be relevant to your ad and landing page. Sound familiar? As for affiliate links, under "Can I submit an affiliate link?", it suggests you can only direct link to a merchant. Looksmart editors, unlike Adwords, will change your ad if it doesn't follow guidelines (section 8.5). Amazing what you can learn with a little research.
