Looksmart Advertising for placement

    Has anyone had experience paying Looksmart. Last I remembered, it was a fortune for a monthly campaign to be listed for relevenant terms. It's a slow Friday for me, so just looking for new ways (low cost PPC) to get my site out there a little more.

    We signed up for Looksmart, AdWords and Overture (Yahoo Marketing) at the same time Dec '04. After three months, canceled Looksmart because it was generating too few impressions. Probably < 1% of total impressions as with Adwords. I think Looksmart users may search for more relevant topics, depending on your terms (market), but wasn't for us.

    Re: price, bids were much cheaper than Adwords or Overture (at the time anyways - our terms have become considerably more expensive in the last 6 months.)
