Good job Mcdar, your tool is showing the same updated PR results that the seochat tool was showing. Great tool!
I do not show any PR nor BL update using that tool. This page on my site is my barometer of a toolbar PR update: http://www.onlinediscountmart.com/garden-gnomes.html It's been whitebar for about 60-80 days now since its creation.
God I love the the gnome on vacation. (the gnome in the travel commercial) Loved the site and never knew there was so much to learn about gnomes! Great site Lorien Cheers
You might like to have a look here, and check those two datacentres in the middle.. http://www.seochat.com/?go=1&option...www.onlinediscountmart.com/garden-gnomes.html
Be sure your searchbox entry does not include 'http://'. The system adds this prefix. If you add it as well, the PR images don't load (or at least that is what I have found). Very nice program. It is extremely convenient to have both PR and BLs in one tool. /*tom*/
Interesting. I only checked my home page. Now I'll have to play some more to see how long ago pages should have been created to get PR since I add pages every few days Could it be possible that google isn't updating home page or that comes last? I am showing some nearly new internal pages (3-4 weeks ago) showing PR 5, and thats my homepage PR across the board.
lorien1973, I searced www.onlinediscountmart.com/garden-gnomes.html (do NOT use the http://) on the Datacenter Quick Check tool and I see your site has gone from PR0 to PR4 !!! Your Backlink count has changed as well. Caryl
This is a great tool! And the updates on PR are now on 3 servers, BL updates stay only on those initial 2. My PR is still the same on main page, but got some improvements on other inner pages, wich is great too! Anyway, I'm just happy that December was the month were i've made more from Adsense...
New PR doesn’t do me much good because all of my keywords have sunken from the top to the position of 80 to 100.
Good to see pr and bl updating together. Thanks McDar, I always go to your tool. I'm interested to see how the update effects our weight in the coop.
My primary site stayed at a PR5, but backlinks almost doubled. (Only 120 BL's, tho, but most are highly relevant links.) My new site, which is less than a month old now has a PR4 with only 3 BL's, so no complaints from me, I just need to spend more time on getting BL's now. DS
Just checked my PR for the main pages and inside pages. Most of the main pages remain on PR 5, but a lot of the inside pages are from pr 0 to pr 4 or 5. Would this at last mean extra traffic? or is this just a number that meand nothing. You guys over here don't seem too agree with each other.. So the main question is, will an improvement in PR on a page from 0 to 5 mean that the serps on the keywords that are on that page will improve as well? And when schould I be seeing changes?
An improvement in PR will help you in SERPs if you: - Are making an effort to make link exchanges - Need to be spidered more often (higher PR, more Gbot activity) - You use the Co-op Network as it will increase your weight. Other than that, if your PR increases and you don't do anything more, it will not help you at all...
I've checked my new site and the results are weird My homepage: http://www.onestop-directory.com shows 255 backlinks and PR3 while http://www.onestop-directory.com/index.php shows 42 backlinks and PR4 This is a brand new site (less than 2 months old) and I've only used coop to gain backlinks and a few directory submissions. I've to work on my internal navigation to carry the PR back to http://www.onestop-directory.com I guess. But this pr update is good news with the new year
Is anyone seeing changes on more than two datacenters? I saw the same thing last night as i am seeing 24+ hours later. Shannon ------------- Thanks for the info Eduardomaio. As of 6:30 CST I am seeing changes on four datacenters.
