***Looks like many keywords CPC are PLUMMETTING!

I am curious if any of you guys have noticed this too...

I have a list of about 50 keywords from various niches and about 1 month ago I recorded the details about each specific KW (volume, CPC, etc)

So I log into google's adwords tool:

A month or so later and wow... I look down my updated list and see crap, garbage, junk.

One keyword of mine (which I was planning to build a whole mini-site around due to the very high search volume and very (very) low comp) went from a 1.75 average CPC to 46 CENTS!

It lost almost 75% of it's value... It isn't a tickle-me-elmo-type fad keyword, but a steady one with relevance all year.

    What gives?

Is it an end-of-the-year phenomena or am I lucky enough to just get unlucky?

I think its partly the economy and partly the time of year.

Not knowing your niche, my guess would be just a post-christmas lull.
