Looks like Alphared is GONE

I tried to reach them b/c my sites are just gone and I got the following email reply

Alpha Red is in the process of closing its doors. The reason you see the pages down is because we did not expect our network providers to flip the switch to turn off Alphared so quickly. At this moment, I suggest you begin looking for a new hosting provider.

Any suggestions on a good mp3 streaming high storage server company?

From what I read from another thread here is that they are just being bought over and not closing down.

Considering the "baggage" attached to the company, buying it probably wouldn't like like an attractive prospect to most potential buyers.

There are many rumors about alphared. But definitely data are not secured there anymore as they got their cognet line already cut off and the other line can go at anytime. Some of the AR employee are anyway trying their best to be on ethics and help the customers to get their backups.

    Wow.

I was thinking their I believe dedicated package was a great deal only a few months ago. I really liked the look of the company. Maybe their deal was a little too good.
