I want to start an ecommerce site based on outdoor sporting goods that deal with hunting, camping, fishing and gun and knife supplies

I would like to work with magento as the software and i dont own the business but would rather start one as a "middle man" and have a drop shipper or several.

im very new to this and was hoping someone could point me in the right direction.....where can i find dropshippers? what is your success story. any help and all help please :)

    Thanks

watch out for credit card fraud, send expensive packages with signature required because if you get a chargeback, visa will want to see a signature

thanks for the heads up i am familiar with chargebacks and several if not most of the items i am goin to be selling are going to require a signature anyway.

What im really looking for is a dropshipper that i can use thats free to sign up and use their database of products within my nich (camping hunting fishing) so if anyone knows of a good dropshipper in this field please let me know

hosting, design, installation of magento is not a problem

***a question to anyone who works with a dropshipper on digitalpoint (non ebay)---- if you work with a retail site using magento or oscommerce (example) do you posts the product and all the details manually (copy paste right from the dropship site) or is there a way to simply import the data right from the dropshipper?

What i really want is: when a client orders a product the information gets sent right to the dropship company this way all shipping and handeling of information does not need to be dealt with by me. sort of a turnkey operation i gues im looking for it to be almost automated i would like to spend lots of time on SEO rather than shipping information :)

i know its a lot to ask but hopefully this thread can be used as an example for future people seeking a way to start up the same thing :)

    Thanks

    Hi

Try checking out AlgoZone.com. They have been creating ecommerce templates for years now and they have a good track record in terms of customer service.

I suggest you ask only PAYPAL mode of money transfer. Its 100% safe and secure.

The only I can share is market your product through SEO and apply a B2C...That's the secret!
