These services sometimes overrated, so dont put too much faith into it. As far as I know, hyphened domains have not so high value.
"automated" appraisals are indeed completely meaningless. It's impossible for a computer to quantify how much a domain it's worth. It's entirely subjective. As for your question, $6000 may be pushing it...
Ya, automated appraisal put high values most of the times. It is better to post your price here and you will get good deal.
It's just an estimated value it's not what is really worth and some times those services really do give you wrong prices of what your domain is worth I don't think you would find anyone who would pay $6000 for your domain.. But it seems to be pretty popular..
It has PR 2 a lot of Backlinks (different kinds) and older domain name. You could make a site around it have a good probably that it will rank well. Most likely worth?
Figure 12X to 18X the monthly net. If it's not making any money, then the value is limited. The only way to know is to put it up for auction - but I think the domain name alone is worth any more than xxx.
very positive appraisal...it huge amount! Domain has - (hypen) and 2 word not directly linked. I wish you good luck with it but better develop it and you will sell it as a established wsite. Merry Xmas!
Automated appraisals are not a great source. You can get some DP members to take a look at your site and get a few accurate appraisals. This way you know the true value of the site. Good Luck!
