Looking to outsource link building - Any advice

    Hi there,

I am looking to outsource the link building for my site. Anyone has any advice as far as the best way to work with link builders?

I have an offer from a DP member asking for $450 per month. And I will have a dedicated link builder working 7 hours a day. Is this a good setup?

Or perhaps its a better idea to pay on a per link basis?

If you have hired link builders before, when do you decide to stop using their services?

Also, is there any specific things I should watch out for?

i would go on a per link basis because he can add your site to loads of sites that dont mean nutting to any of the search engines

If you are serious about this, I would reccomend paying somebody local, part-time and training them up. From my experience outsourcing your link development to people thousands of miles away is a bad idea. Little accountability and little control.

Find somebody who is willing to work for a low wage, school leaver, holidays etc etc, get them in, train them up, and set them to work. That way, you are getting the links you want and you can monitor their quality more effectivly.

    Good luck.

I would go the pay per link route too.

You will want to look at the methods that the link builder is using to create the links, where the links will appear, the relevancy of the links, the anchor text of the links, etc.

You may want to check out www.linksandtraffic.com they offer a guaranteed link building service.

I have to agree that doing it in-house is the best way to go. Its one of those important but flat-out boring work.

Well, we'll see how it goes.

Pay per link is the way to go in your case. Also still kinda fishy. If you pay link builder $450 per month, how much the owner leaves himself.
