    Hi

I'm looking to get resellers for my own business - it would be an absolute doddle for anyone with an email list to make money but I want to set it up properly, with an affilaite program that others can sign up to so that I can track which affiliate has sold what and remunerate them appropriately.

I'ts a very small business with limited resources and if anybody can point me in the right direction it would be really appreciated. Thanks. ;)

It is important to have a really good quality product that actually does what it says it does. This is so you can build your reputation ready for your next product, plus it reduces returns. Also you need as good a landing page as possible if you want to attract decent affiliates. Read up about copywriting, and if necessary, hire someone to write it for you. Keep refining your landing page over time so that conversions keep improving.

Oh yes, and try and pick a product that will actually sell, that there will be some interest in.

Thanks for that Jon, all points taken on board.

What I was really driving at though was the mechanics of an affliate program. In other words should I use Clickbank, or AffiliatePro, or is there another, better means through which to manage affiliates?

Sorry if my OP didn't make that completely clear.

JonRhodesUK say it all. To find affiliates can be a long process. They must beleive in you and your products before to try to sell it. You need one site that will 'sell' your products to the affiliates, your are the seller and affiliates are the buyer, they will 'buy' from your site the certitude that the time they will invest to sell your products will get rewarded.

You must get involve in social marketing also, relation seller/affiliates will be a long term relationship, affiliates like to know who you are.

Also keep in mind that a small commission is bad, but a big commission is worse because it looks suspicious.

A good way to start is to become an affiliate yourself, so you will learn the problems and difficulties, this is a good start to understand what you have to do to find affiliates.

Well affiliate pro is a stand alone affiliate software which has lots of opportunities for managing your affiliates - compared with joining an affiliate site where things may be easier but offer less options you. You might wanna check out this site "Make affiliate program"

I use PayDotCom.com. It's cheaper than Clickbank and you don't need approval to add a product.

It's always a good idea to divulge some of your work load to others, which is what in essence an affiliate program is, there are plenty of great scripts out there to smoothen the process

Thats a good news.Dont forget to give an attractive commission so more people get interested in your product and sign up as affiliate.More affiliates promote your product means more sales and eventually more profit in your pocket and also don't forget to add various sorts of promotional tools.
