Looking to integrate a directory into my site

Hey guys, I have run into some problems...I have not been able to find much as far as resources go for integrating a directory into a Wordpress blog. I am wondering if there is something out there that I could use or an Addon Script for CPANEL...What is the best out there you think and how much am I looking at investing?? I don't want to go too crazy here, but I have wanted a Directory for quite a while now.

Any help I can get would be greatly appreciated.

Two ways to go:
One is plugin: wordpress link directory (do search on google or at wordpress)
That one I use on my blog: http://www.directorydaily.com

Two is make your blog a full blown directory.
http://directorydaily.com/wordpress-directory-script/wordpress-directory-script/

Either one should be what you are looking for.

why don't you buy phpLD and install it on a folder called directory on your web server? Configure it and then link to it from your main site. In my opinion this is the best idea to go with
