    Hi all,

I'm currently looking to hire a virtual assistant from india for my business.
Preferably a student as I'm not paying huge amount.
($5 for 6 to 8 hours of work everyday, just doing data entry or some manual work)

    PM me if interested, thanks!

    Hi,

Are you paying $5 in total for 6 to 8 hours of work or you are paying $5 per hour, that will last for 6 to 8 hours everyday?

    Thanks

If you are paying $5 overall for 8 hours of work, then it is extremely low, IMO. Also, not sure how a student can work for 8 hours per day in addition to 8-9 hours of college lectures/school classes.

You're also advertising for "manual work" - does that mean you'll be needing someone to physically show up at your business/residence? Is the rate hourly or per day? Kindly stipulate.

    Hmm, online-based work.

Right now it's an as-and-when basis so if I need your service I'll contact you, but pretty soon I'm planning it to be more of a full-time thing.
Now it's part-time assignment by hour basis. And yes, it's online base, don't need you to be physically here. :D

Just came to know this via PM..

Sapphiro is paying $5 for 6-8 hours of work = 300 INR per 6-8 hours

    i.e 35-50 INR per hour

Seriously Why Pay So much, you should ask someone to work for free :D

Yes...those kinds of offers should be banned...truly insulting. DP carries with it an element of generosity amongst the members...reviewing sites, offering assistance, doing work for less so people on tight budgets can hope to get ahead in the world. But Sapphiro's post goes beyond all that...enters into the mist of total disrespect for what DP accomplishes more often than not
