Hi, I own a website that has some extensive, extensive custom php code used to manage a back end database system.

My current contractors, who wrote and "maintain" the code, I have no faith in their ability to fix their mess.

A good example is that they have 4 different databse entrys /calls to a date field that theoretically should be the same. Therefore, change one date in one screen, and it doesn't propigate through the rest of the software.

In addition, I highly suspect when they upgrade a function, instead of going back and deleting the old php call, they leave it there, creating a mess if anyone was to ever wanting to go back and fix it.

So, I am looking for a crackerjack php god who can look at what I've got, and give me some advice on how to clean up/ manage to fix the remaining open issues.

There is a lot of proprietary info that we store, so whoever I hire will have to pass a background check and payment will be by check if in the US with a 1099 or by bank wire if outside the US.

Contact me if interested with rates, and an example website that you have built entirely with custom php code, preferably one that takes and manages complex customer input and data.
