@serverunion What mod were you using for #1. The mod used in #2 is able2know. I have done more tweaks in templates and added h1/h2/title tags.
You are right about the mods, although the mod_rewrite portion on serverunion is a more advanced source. I will have to get back to you on this as I do not have the files on me
For phpbb Craven de Kere's mods are pretty comprehensive. They include a mod-rewrite and some work on titles etc. I'd be inclined to use them rather than try and reinvent the wheel. http://able2know.com/forums/about15132-0.html (Download from post 2) For vbulletin, dani's latest mod re-write is excellent. Yep vord! I totally agree with you. I had once installed a new mod ( Which I assume Serverunion is using in case#1 ) which never helped indexing the brand new forum. Then after a month I decided to use the other mod. ( able2 know) with in a week 50% of pages were indexed. With some more minor tweaks all my pages are showing descriptions also. ( added h1/h2/ unique titles) And thanks for sharing vbulletin mod. I'm about to start a new Vb forum. Regards, Tuning
well first off i need to say sorry i forgot to mention what type of forum didnt relize it till i got a pm and i thank the person to bring it to my attention the type of forum it is phpBB2 Plus 1.52 so this i would need a mentor for as well as phpbb please and thank you PS please send me a Price quate for mentoring me thank you when i say mentor i mean not do it for me but teach me how to do it and when i get stuck i am able to get guidence and yes i agree with vord and mizt its not hijacking i dont think since you have the same needs its not like you asking to buy links and this thread has nothing to do with buying links
