I am looking for a partner to make something bigger of

    http://www.picturepush.com

Currently there is nice growth, but it is going too slow; only 4000 members.

    We are looking for someone with marketing skills to help us; any JV deal is welcome;

    - 100% of the income for a period of time (for instance 1 year)
    - shared ownership and shared rev
    - ...

Anyone up for a bit of a challenge?

I just took a look at your site. Just the first page though.

And maybe you already know this, but if you scroll all the way down
you get like "your: log in; learn more." etc and on the left it has a link which is not clearly visible.

With that I mean the link is off the page. I can only read "ds" :) probably from "nederlands" because it goes to the dutch version of picturepush :D

Maybe it's because of my resolution?
Edit: yup it's my resolution :D hah damn I feel stupid.

Anyway, what is the monetization strategy of your site? just adsense?

We tried quite a lot of things and we don't really like Adsense, but we noticed that without banners we get less people (even) to subscribe. Currently we offer a very large amount of storage and bandwidth and ofcourse we could ask money for more, but that is not really working either with this amount of members.

    Ideas are very welcome!

For the videos, you could host them through metacafe and get paid per view, but I don't know how your members would respond to that.

And I totaly agree, I don't like adsense either. Stopped using it completely.

perhaps selling stock photos? And getting advertisers. This way you can show their ad, or little commercial before the video is played.

You could make it a paying site. Dollar a month. or Euro a month, since I believe you are dutch :).

It's not much, a euro... you can find that on the street if you walk through a couple streets :D and with 4000 members. Just hope all of them agree :) Then you'd have 4000 euros a month. Not bad, right?

Offer them more features maybe, for that one euro a month. That way you're still "free" to some degree.

Can't think of anything better at the moment. I'll keep thinking about it though :)

But the monetizing, as you already indicate above, depends almost all on the amount of users. That is why I am trying to find a JV with someone who can do the marketing for this thing. We just need a crapload of users; then rev will come just fine (as I have seen many times before).

you're right, you'd be better of having a couple million of members :) (who wouldn't:D)

anyway, if you're going to attract new members you're going to have to offer something. An incentive. Money does wonders, every time :)

And you could make use of other web2.0 sites.

Like watermark the videos posted on your site and upload them to youtube etc. Thus increasing your visibillity. Also mention that they can find more at your site.

Do you have a "tell a friend" function? I forgot to look for that one.
    Because those are useful too.

I'm going to think a bit more about incentives you can offer.
