Hi all, I've been working on a site for over two years by now. Start as an interest to kill some time via writing. So remain a newbie in SEO. bgnentrepreneur dot net I keep submitting new post to social bookmarking sites such as delicious, digg, stumbleupon, ping, etc. I also submit posts to social networking sites, such as facebook, myspace, and twitter. I've been commenting and posting on forums with signature links to build up the inbound links. Currently, I'm getting 16K+ unique visitors per month. But the PR stuck at PR3 for quite a while and didn't got any improve. I'm looking to get some advice from the experts in the field. What should I do to get it increase to PR4 or even PR5? Looking forwards to some informative advice. Thx!!!
You're going to need to build backlinks on sites that already have high Page Rank to increase your own Page Rank.
Stop wasting time on getting higher PR PR is just a number Concentrate on building backlinks and getting rankings ...
if you have built up a solid network via social networking and social bookmarking sites, then page rank should not matter for you. you are getting good web traffic from those sites. however, if you want to rank high in search engine results as well, then build up good back links by posting messages in discussion forums, and also by requesting links from sites having the same theme as your site and having a high page rank.
Never Run behind PR. there are many website they may not have good PR but good positioning in Search results. Just try to get more and more back links it will improve PR Plus Positioning too.
You need to build links that are relevant to your site its more of quality than quantity so its much better to build more links in high PR site as well as do some Article submission as well
PR is not much important factor in ranking. Lower PR sites can rank high. Though, you want to increase the PR, get quality back links. Quality back links means, back links from high PR pages and domains and from relative pages.
With that kindof traffic, I wont worry about my PR at all. You will get high PR when Google will find your site important (though getting high PR should not be your ultimate aim)... Supposedly, For higher PR, You need to get quality links (Quality Links = Relevant links with High PR) for your website.
