Looking to expand my horizons.

For several years I have been working with websites, learning and building from scratch with a text editor, but until now everything has been non-profit in nature. For example, I am the webmaster for the Douglas County (Minnesota) Master Gardeners.

Now I am looking forward to learning more about internet marketing and beginning to monetize my primary site on personal finance which I have developed over the last few years as a free service. It will remain a free educational site, but I want to develop affiliate sales such as books and other options. I know very little about these areas so I am looking forward to learning a lot of new things.

Like others I have long been aware of Digital Point but haven't participated. I look forward to making new friends here.
