Well I just installed my 10th website and while I have done most of my SEO by hand up to this point Im thinking I could use some better tools to track things and such as well as improve my SEO chances. I will still only hand submit however I need to identify good quality links, track the competition, see updated PR daily and all of these things.........so what do you recommend for software to do this? I have heard IBP is the best if you think there is something better I'm all ears otherwise I'm leaning this way. Thanks in advance for your thoughts.
i have used ibp and in all honest i really dont see the sense of it... till i can do everything automated using softwares.. like 2 times better software then seonuke im plannin on stickin to doing everything manually..
You're going to want to look at SEO Spyglass. Bear in mind that the free version is essentially useless (like a pretty woman at a strip club, you can look but you can't touch), and the "regular" version isn't that much better. If you do buy it, spend the $250 to get the "enterprise" version.
Caphyon do a couple of tools that are worth considering - Advanced Web Ranking, which is a keyword based tool - tells you where a site (or a number of sites) appears for specified keyword, and what the top sites appearing for that keyword across a range of types of search and regional search engines - and Advanced Link Manager - which obviously, is a backlink tool - tells you backlinks, anchor texts, urls
