Looks good... Costs 45k in India (1000 USD).

    Specs

    • Intel® Coreâ„¢2 Duo Processor T6600 (2.20 GHz)
    • 3 GB DDR3 SDRAM
    • 320 GB HDD
    • 14" WLED Screen
    • DVD±RW/±R DL/RAM Drive
    • NVIDIA® GeForce® G210M GPU 256MB DDR3
    • VGP-BPS13B/Q Lithium-ion battery: 6 Cell
    • All other usual stuff (WiFi, LAN, Webcam...)
What say? Is it good? If I but Lenovo, I can save Rs 5k (100 USD), but is buying Sony VAIO worth the extra cost?

Anyone own one? What was the experiece? I have an old Acer laptop (Aspire 5570) and its not good. Both hinges failed, power button broke.

I need a sturdy laptop with powerful graphics for college work (mainly to use Google Sketchup for building 3D modeling at Architecture college).

I'd appreciate all the tips and suggestions...

    Cheers!

Why don't you look for Dell Studio. They are superb to use if you need good graphics and other things.
