    Hi Friends,

I am looking to buy a laptop - trying to see if any of you know any good deals.

    Appreciate any suggestions.

Around $500.00 or little over that amount OK.

    Thanks

I would say a Mac but you don't have that much to spend, So.. that leaves you with DELL(nothing beats it at that price) Long-Lasting Battery, Good Performance!

    P.S Just don't buy a VAIO :D

I bought an IBM Thinkpad x41 which is extremely light but has a small 12" screen for $125 on eBay. It's a good place to find a deal but make sure you find out how much a battery costs because many off lease laptops like the one I have will need to have their battery replace. Off lease means an office or business replaced all their same laptops with newer ones so they're in relatively good shape compared to buying one from a kid / student

I only have one recommendation when it comes to laptops and Internet Marketing. If the machine is to be used for business then definitely choose a model with a MATTED screen. Those glossy screens suck when it comes to being productive in many locations where one would use a laptop, too much reflection. My Lenovo Think Pad is a workhorse.

I think you can check out deals on ebay and also check out dell's official website latest laptop models....In my opinion in $500 go for a netbook instead of laptop.....

Go with Dell series laptop but for that you need to increase your budget IMO.

Asus P52JC-SO054D is a great laptop. It has a 7200rpm hard drive, 4 gigs of RAM, dedicated card and a dual core Intel proc.

You should go check out amazon. I have recently purchased two laptops, both from amazon. One was core i7, another core i5. Asus and Acer. Both were at a great price, tax is the only downside depending on the state. You should go check out the reviews for some of them and see what you like.

That computer is not for me.

They are just going to use to watch Internet motives etc.
Not going to be used as a business computer.

I am just looking for a good deal.
