Looking to build list on Gmail.

I have people email me on gmail, then the vacation responder sends link. How can I make a list out of these people easily. It only ads people to my contacts when I email them and it would be a waste of time to add them to a list by hand. Any suggestions.

Yeah, use a real list builder and email subscription service like Aweber

Ok thank you for your response. Is there an easy way to add emails from G-Mail to aweber without asking them to sign up for a newsletter. I won't be spamming I just have it set up so I ask for their email once, and don't want to make people have to enter it again.

 

I would suggest that you send them the link (such as aweber) and ask them to sign in, saying that you are compiling a list for contact. I think this will work somehow.

 

if you are doing this for email marketing purposes you should be using an ESP

 

I am pretty sure Aweber prefers fresh opt ins, but Constant Contact does allow you to import your list. I haven't used them in at least 2 years, but between the 2, Aweber provides top of the line tools and support for email marketing.
