Looking to build a website

    I'm looking to build a social website, something simple. Site will have, blog, calendar, photo album and that's it.

    What programs should I use to achieve this?

    Try Joomla, Drupal or Mambo. They all are open source and reliable. They use PHP/MySQL. DotNetNuke is also good, used Asp.net/MS SQL.
