Hello Everybody Pretty new here & trying to build my Internet Marketing Business up. I am at a stage now where as I am looking into getting a auto responder ?? but not sure how to use them. Can anyone recommend a good simple one to use. I have been looking at the Aweber that looks like alot to learn. Just looking for a simple one to use. Hope this is not out of the question Dia
Thankyou for the reply Does Aweber come with any sort of free trial. Plus there is a few more I am looking into Dia
Aweber truly is incredibly easy to use, and aweber has a 2 week free trial I think. That is what I use to manage all of my mailing lists.
I use Get Response which is really good. I've heard Aweber is good as well. The advantage to Aweber is that they come with a static counter so you can see how many people on your website sign up with your opt-in. Getresponse has a free 14 day trial, and it also has 4 good video tutorials you can follow along with and pause when you need to to implement your step. It's not hard when you follow the video tutorials. Takes a little time at first, but then it's really easy after that.
Try GetResponse. It's every bit as good as Aweber in terms of deliverability - and a little more cost effective. Has a free version too which you can use while you are starting out or testing.

I've been using aWeber and it's not too difficult to pick up. They do offer a free trial, I think it's just one week (last time I checked)
These things may seem complicated at first, but it's better to go with a solid service like AWeber (I'm sure GetResponse is equally decent), start with something very basic (they have templates and things like that), take it slowly, and as you get more comfortable over the first two or three months, go for the more advanced stuff. If you go for something basic at first from a service that doesn't intimidate you, you risk having to start all over in a couple of months' time when you're ready to go for AWeber or GR.
If you are not making enough money to pay for the hefty aweber monthly dues...$20/mo I think, then might be best to search online for something cheap or free. maybe find your own script...sorta pointless of you paying them, when you should be the one making money
I never had any great love for getsponse or aweber..but there is one that is fiairly feature packed and you can use HTML code I think...just can not think of the name of it...its not cheap either...
constantcontact is the one I was thinking about...they are $15/mo...icontact.com which ive never used is $10/mo...i have no idea what the difference was, but I was impressed with what you could do with ConstantContact...
Sure, you can use your own script, or any of a number of services for varying degrees of expense. One extremely important thing you have to consider, though, is delivery of your emails. AWeber has one of the best rates of actually getting your emails into the inboxes of your subscribers. And AWeber has a good reputation with many of the email providers (like Yahoo! and Hotmail). For the record, I'm sure the same can be said of GetResponse, but rate of delivery is something you have to consider if you're seriously thinking of cheap or free rather than $20 odd per month.
Free autoresponders suck. If you are playing the game to win and make money don't go the free route because your emails won't get delivered. If you can install PHP scripts and set-up CRON jobs you might give "Infinite Responder" a try. It's free.
Autoresponders are so valuable to your business. Spend the money and go with either aweber or getresponse. They both make sure your email gets delivered & not hung up in a spam filter. I use getresponse, $17.95 per month, which is a couple bucks cheaper than aweber, but either one will get the job done.
I like getresponse also and can say it is functional and easy to use - aweber is the other choice but I go for the former.
Hey You Guys n Gals have been great I seem to favour GetResponce. There are some learning vids that I like. It's also a little cheaper then Aweber. No I'm not looking for the cheapest auto responder, but a good one I can live with until I need to upgrade to a better one if there is such a thing. Will keep you posted on what the outcome is. Dia
