Hi guys. I'm looking for a new host. These are the requisites: - Well-known host (I don't want amateur companies or kids with servers and a lot of free time). For example, I'm liking Ovh. - Cpanel if possible. - More than 1gb space and 50gb bandwidth. - A mysql database at least. - About 5$ a month. As I've said, I'm liking ovh but I don't like their panel, so I'm hearing other options. Thanks in advance!
I recommend Hosterbox I have been using them for a little while now and they are amazing plus I think they have a plan that would suit you nicely for less then 2$. Well I hope this recommendation helps good luck!
you can find more then you write try Google search .also try fat ciw and host gator also there are lots of service like more then you want
I will honestly say, if you expect 50gb bandwidth in shared hosting plan, than you will end up having issues, if you really looking to use that much bandwidth, its not small amount of bandwidth, because in no shared server you will able to use 50gb of bandwidth in month. But if you looking this just as an feature and really not going to use even 25% of it, than you should skip that criteria and look for a better host, where you get whats been mentioned in plan. There are hundreds of host you will find here as well, who will promise you giving that much bandwidth, but do study and find out, can you really use that much bandwidth in shared hosting I would say, research and find a good host, to run your site smoothly, not get trap into these fall promises
Thanks all for your replies. About the offers, thanks but as I've said I'm looking for big companies this time. I said 50 gb as an stimated amount, but probably I won't reach half of it. I only want to have plenty just in case my new website works, and I don't want to be always looking the bw I consume. As I've said, I like Ovh but it doesn't have cpanel. I see hostgator does have it, but reviews in this forum are pretty bad so I don't know what to do
I understand your question, but having does not mean you can really use it, thats why there are bad reviews about hostgator, because they give unlimited, but you can't use it, and it that applies to all host, even if you get it, you really can't use it, as soon your site start using high amount, either your sites gets suspended or your traffic will be blocked and advised to move in dedicated server, thats reality and thats what I am trying to explain Having enough does not really mean you will able to use that, specially in good service provider, because they need to balance their server to keep up all client happy
Hostmonster may be your option but a bit higher price at $5.95. Their "unlimited' may not really unlimited as described but enough per your requirement.
There are many web hosting providers out there.. Do Google search on 'cheap web hosting' and you will find web companies - compare them and choose the best one.
Thanks all for your replies. I've already found a host that meet my requeriments, so there's no need of more recommendations. Thanks all again WebIntellects - Rob: I know how to search, but there are thousands of hosting companies out there. If I ask here is because people of this forum usually have several websites online and have several hosts. They can help me with recommendations. That's why I asked.
He and a few others post things like that in every thread they can find, just to get their product out there. Pretty embarrasing. You don't come to a site like this to get advice from other people (who might possibly have used the services, and can provide recommendations), only to be told to "go Google it." Oh well.
I use justhost for my blog. I am paying $23.70 for 6 months, cPanel addons are always up to date, traffic is unmetered, I am quite satisfied.
Justhost or Fatcow are ok within your budget range for a shared hosting. They are well known company whilst offer a cheap package for a beginner level user.
