I'm trying to start making some money through web businesses of some sort. I'm looking for some good ideas.

My skills involve alot of background knowledge with computer hardware operating systems and general use, along with programming, and strong web development skills. Does anyone have ideas to what I could do? Does anyone think an eBook on web development would sell at all?

I have quite a few websites, but my most recent project is http://www.technologyarmy.com/ ... So far i've only put up one VERY simple tutorial on there, and i'm wondering if anyone thinks that website could become a way to make income?

I really want to get into the web business, but am not sure where to go... sell things... try and make a popular website and use google ads?

    Advice?

You should try dropshipping coz it a profitable job and yet it very easy.
Other than that, why not you go for freelance site and bid for the web development job?

Make a good, content rich website and drive traffic to it, but instead of adsense ads, join an affiliate company like CJ, and run your own affiliate ads. Less risk of getting banned, and more earning potential with the right niche. A good niche is key.

Hopefully CJ will pay you if you sell products. I was notified of a class action suit regarding CJ not paying their affiliates because I'm a CJ affiliate. At least with Google you can be sure of getting paid without any hassles.

I would make a high traffic site using natural organic SEO. The niche is your choice. Later I would allow private advertisers to put ads on the site.

If I were you, I would build several site to earn a stable income at first .
Then I will consider dropshipping business.
Anyway, learn to walk before you can run .

Affililiate marketing is the way forward nowadays. Get yourself a good starting place by purchasing the Niche software from www.bansoft.com

This will allow you to integrate affiliate ads, adsense, amazon etc. It's an easy recipe. Add content and stir until boiled :)

I get paid by CJ all the time. If you're doing black hat stuff, obviously you risk not getting paid.

That's true, I never have proactively marketed anything from CJ so I can't say from experience. I just wanted to let some others know about the class action suit. Did you get the same letter in the mail? I'll try to find it and post what it said.
