Looking for VPS that can able to host my site

    hey guys, i been through a lot of trouble with my site, usually daily traffic around 2k-3k and every thursday i am gonna get a huge traffic around like 8k suddenly for my site i have tried a lot of vps it still make my website down so i need a vps that can support my website with affortable price

    I think you need bigger web hosting account. You do not need VPS server at all.

    I believe you were using OpenVZ VPS, you should have tried a Xen VPS for dedicated resources.

    With an optimized blog (supercache enabled) there should not be any problem with that much traffic on a 512 ram vps. I highly recommend reading a few wordpress optimization tips (there are a lot of tips on these kind of traffic optimization, when you get a lot of traffics only in a short time interval - digg, slashdot, or in your case the new episode of Naruto)
    You should use supercache's "Directly Cached Files" option, at least on thursdays, that is exactly for these cases.

    Also there are a lot of similar post, just google it. You should first optimize if your site becomes unaccessable only on thursday.

    i would try a higher end vps of maybe jump onto a dedicated server and see how that goes

    What is your budget? Dedicated servers are really cheap these days.
