Looking for UK webhosting

Hi,

I am on the lookout for cheap webhosts having data center in UK (I mean the host IP in UK).

Can anybody suggest the hosts? My requirement is not that huge, just 1-2 websites max 10 GB bandwidth and C Panel.

Flump are good, though can't remember whether they have CPanel.

You could check with eukhost, they seems reputed and reliable host providers, One of thier representative is active member in this forum as well.

 

Checked them, but why there is a huge difference in pricing when compared to other US datacenter hosts?

 

I tried 3ix, thinking that they will provide me a host with UK ip, but got a US host I have requested a refund now.

I am not finding any host in UK having prices in the range as of ususal linux hosting prices.

Please help me out..

Reliable hosting isn't cheap - you get what you pay for.

 

I do agree.

Currently I am spending 10$ pm on my hostgator a/c.
I need a UK webhost just for hosting 1-2 of my UK related sites. I can pay max 5$ pm for this, but I am not finding any in this budget.

 

You won't find anything for $5 to host two websites - not in the UK.

 

If so, what can be a nearest solution ?

I thoroughly recommend them, they are very reliable and the support is good and quick.

They do cost a bit more than some other hosts, but my site has only been down for 5 mins in 2 months

 

I use United Hosting who are reliable and not hugely expensive for a UK based host. They're a sister company of a US host and you can select UK or US hosted option during the signup process.

Just trying out sonnethosting.co.uk because the price fell into what i was looking For a 100 MB hosting with 2GB bandwidth, they are charging 14.9 pounds yearly with hosting support upto 3 domains.
It took some time to set up the account as they wanted proper details about me (I didn't provide initially). But the responses were quick.

The new CPanel (10.8.2-CURRENT Build 467) looks a bit different but options are the same.

Will post my experiences later on if possible on same thread.
