hey guys, i have this idea that i wish to develop but i dunno which language i should pick.. the program that i wish to develop has to communicate with all sorts of other programs such as office, and adobe. This program will have the ability to mark some text and by the help with any hot key that the user definds, it switched the marked text to the same text only in another languge. this feature should work on all marked texts (windows, office, web, adobe etc..). ive been having a hard time finding the right language for this project. any help in this matter will prevent me from becoming totally insain thank you
Damn son! That's quite a question. What platform are you considering running this on? Assuming you're a programmer, I'd recommend starting with a language you know. If you are not, I'd recommend going with the language your programmer knows.
windows and i program on AS 1-3 for nearly 4 years, so learning it isnt a threat for me, just needs to find the right program. thing is i dunno which 1 is best for this specific job... * you know what, for the sake of the question, lets say id wish to create a program that does the UNDO action (on any program) and remembers ur history (just like photoshop for exaple), all of it.
why java? it can communicate with office/adobe for example? i hardly know whats the porpose of all these languages, only 1 i know so far is actionscript.. what C can do and Java, or VB.NET i really dunno.. can u explain more y ud pick these two? thank you
