I have a blog that I am turning into a website soon and I am looking to find the best affiliate program on the market.

    My blog: http://mensbasketballhoopscoop.blogspot.com/

My competition uses Post Affiliate Pro 4. Is that the best one? I could really use some help, because I am a newbie with affiliate marketing.

    Can anyone help me out?

What do you want to sell ? Coaching Books, Basketball Equipment, Uniforms, Jerseys ?
To sell products, Amazon has the best selection and the best tools, but the lowest commission in the beginning . You will need to really work your traffic for success and I wouldn't put that much into it on a free hosted blog (no offense).

If you want to sell Tickets to Basketball games, you could check out Stub Hub (which is now with CJ)
I looked at your blog and it looks like you would have a lot to offer, your experience certainly gives you some authority in the area which is very good.

I would seriously think about hosting your own blog, (I suggest Word Press) and treating this seriously.

Yes, We are in the processing of building a new website and going to transfer the information to a wordpress website with a hosting company.

I am just new to this affiliate stuff and the competion uses Post affiliate pro 4 and adtrackz.

If I need to use another affilate software then let me know. I just want to buy the best on the market.

Good affiliate softwares currently on market are:
    1. Post Affiliate Pro
    2. IDevDirect
    3. JAM from JRox

My choice is Post Affiliate Pro ... it has unique features, which other doesn't have (e.g. rebrandable PDF documents for each affiliate, site replication of dynamic web sites and others)

In the past I really did deep review of all affiliate softwares and those 3 are the best on market.

I would go with Post Affiliate Pro as well. It will give you more possibilities for the future even if you don't know how to take advantage of them yet.
