Google Analytics is a good choice to tract visitors amount, if your site is promotion in Google. You can get more SEO information in your Google Analytics account.

Has Google Analytics provide such visitors counters, mate? If yes, could you show me where they are on their websites?

I have tried that 99counter and I don't really know how to get the code from that website to insert into my website. Its really weird because there is not option to register there my website where I want to use the counter.

I have also installed statcounter on one of my websites and I can say that it gives me total number of visitors coming from the start of this counter. I prefer those visitor counter which present visitor number each day. Such a counter is much better.

I wouldn't suggest having the counter directly on your website but as "Original Hosting" said: Use google analystics. It updates everyday and can show you close to everything about your visitors. You can also see in "real time" when someone is on your website and you can send and safe the reports.

The options are close to endless and even if you choose to have the other counter on your website you should still (and always) set up your site with google analystics.

http://www.google.com/analytics/ - log in with your google account or create a new - setup your site - copy paste the code it gives you and insert it into your website code.

You will need to put the code on every page that you want it to count as a part of your site.
