Hello All Im look for the best web host that i can find thats super cheap. Right now I'm with hostmonster and they suck. Im looking for: -Reliability (99.9%) I dont really care about the numbers i just want a host someone could lay their head on the block for -Cost: Aiming for below $10/month...$5/mth would be better -Unlimited FTP, Bandwidth, Space, Sub Domains, Email Addresses -Easy install of wordpress through simple scripts Most sites these days offer all of that but im looking to DP members to tell me that they would give up their firstborn child in defence of this host. So far im looking at: Justhost FatCow HostGator Inmotion Help a guy out here Thanks!
I am with Hostgator and I have no problems with them. But it is not my personal choice. I belong to a membership site and the site uses Hotgator so every member has to use Hostgator. But in reply to your question,I give you a bit info from a different point of view. I currently promote products of Commission Junction. 3 months EPC statistics are below on October 16 2010. iPage earnings per 100 clicks $96 means roughly 1 ckick out of 100 clicks buy their service as Most pay around $100 commission/sale. iPage $96 MyHosting $65 FatCow $47 Hostgator $30.4 Just Host$29.9 For this reason I do not promote Just Host and other less performing web hosting products.. As affiliates you promote the most lucrative products. In this context,Hostgator and Just Host are not popular to possible buyers or not lucrative to affiliates. What surprises me is MyHosting $63 who are Canadian company and very popular. They must be doing something good. iPage $3.5/month FatCow $3.67/month
I just checked Commission Junction's statistics and I found InMotion It is further down the order. InMotion $16.8 earning per 100 clicks so it is not popupar at all and it does not sell. Please remember that that does not mean InMotion is not good. Their brand might not be established yet or there might be other reasons. What I am saying is iPage,MyHosting and FatCow are in a group of tested best selling market performers out of 57 web Hostng companies whom Commission Junction promote.
I'm pretty sure that you should not consider JustHost. I had been testing their services a year ago and had problems with customer service. Most often they took a long time to respond and didn't seem to care a lot about my problems. FatCow, HostGator and InMotion are fine choices. You should also think about iPage as they're equally good. Hmm, that's strange. In fact, InMotion do a really good job and usually receive more positive reviews than HostGator or iPage.
I know There is a thread where someone already narrowed down to only 2 web hosting companies of InMotion and other. He asked anyone not to recommend any others as he made up his mind of choice of 2. So he must have done thorough research on his own!! I presented BEST SELLING web hosting services out of Commission Junction's 57 WH Companies, using Commission Junction's sales performance statics. We all know that being popular does not necessarily mean good quality, but it is a useful measure.
Be careful with those companies that offer you unlimited plans at like two bucks per month, they always have other problems (reliability, uptime, low resources, account suspension if you use too much bandwidth -hey, wasn't it unlimited?- ) etc. I suggest you to look for a good reviewed company even if it offers you a limited plan. You know, if you have a website that uses more than 100-200 GB of bandwidth or more than 20 GB of space, well you should look for another solution and not a shared hosting account. In all the other cases, be smart.
Let me understand this for a second. You are with a cheap provider and they suck? So you want a cheaper provider that does not suck? Am I missing something? Look, if things are not good at whatever you are paying where you are now, maybe you should look at increasing your budget? Just a thought. Good Luck!
Yes something like that.... cheaper does not have to mean worse just means the market is competitive. But i sorted out the [problem with my host They told me what the problem was and they rectified the situation
If you want to go with unlimited hosting please read their terms of service and acceptable usages policy. Unlimited is not possible real world, it is a marketing tricks.
best and cheapest usually do not go together. That said, for $10 / mo, you should be able to find something that doesn't suck, for shared hosting.
where you can get best support for your site, thats best, according to me, every webmaster has different need, so which host may best for you, it depends what you looking for, such as only hosting space, or tech support as well
I would say quality hosting start at or around $10 per month. Sure you can get it cheaper, but then you also get exactly what you pay for. Don't expect any support, or at least not any helpful support from the one or two dollar hosts. If problems would ever come around, I can promise you, it's well worth to have spent the few extra dollars per month on a real host. You will not be sorry!
I think everyone here will agree with me when I say that Unlimited hosting is a "scam" its just a PR stunt to get more customers, usually the hosts will even explain what "unlimited" means in there TOS for exemple some limit cpu to 5%, 10gb of disk space etc. why go for a Web host that is lying to you from the start. I think that whats really best for you is to stand back and look at your needs, for example Hosterbox offers 2gb of disk space and 200gb of bandwidth for only 1,49$, Hosterbox could easily sell the plan as an "unlimited" plan but they don't because they truly care about there customers and they want to be upfront. -Hope this helps
best and cheapest definitely don't go together as far as web hosting goes. You get what you pay for, well sometimes anyway lol. But if something sounds too good to be true it is and most of these huge cheap plans are chock full of loopholes and hidden terms to prevent you from using a fraction of the allocation or getting little more traffic then 20 visitors and hour
Why are you talking of "Hosterbox" as "they" and "them" when it's so clearly is your company with them being your ONLY signature: " Hosterbox The best Webhosting services!!!l " Cheap trick, do not fall for this! Besides, American Dollars are not noted as 1,49$ - you have two errors here. First and foremost, American dollar numbers are initiated with the dollar sign, so it would have been $1,49 Secondly, but just as huge mistake, US Dollar numbers are not dividing dollars and cents with a comma, because the comma is used as thousands divider, instead a dot is used. So it should have been $1.49, which is the correct and only way to denote such a number in US Dollars.
I WORK FOR HOSTERBOX, I am simply a pr representative for hosterbox, my job is to give hosterbox a presence online. I understand that you might feel "attacked" but I am simply giving my opinion on the matter and not the compay's. As for the currency hosterbox is a Canadian based company.
