Looking for SUPER CHEAP unlimited hosting that has 99% or higher uptime

    I'm just looking for one of those SUPER CHEAP hosts (I see lots of them)

    Price is $5 or less a year for unlimited bandwidth (or a high amount)

    The only thing I require is at least 99% uptime and cpanel x3 version

    (I'm not asking for great support, and oversold is fine as long as the uptime is good and speed stays above "slow")

    $5 or less per year is a hard find... From what I have read of your requirements the only thing I can suggest is lunarpages @ $4.95/month, $59.40/year. If you can put up the $59.40 in 10-12 weeks you can get $50 back if you follow the instructions on http://www.hostingplanrebates.com for the lunarpages rebate. So it will end up being about $10/year for $60/year hosting. I have many sites hosting on a lunarpages shared plan. If you want to know what sites, to test speed of loading etc let me know... Other than the lunarpages deal the only other suggestion I have is for you to keep an eye out here on DP and on WHT for some start up hosting solutions that are looking to build up their base with low cost plans.

    yes, without rebate you can't find such a deal.

    Not looking for quality web hosting, good amount of bandwidth with at least 95% uptime.

    you won't be getting a good amount of bandwidth, no shared host will allow you to use up hundreds of gb of bandwidth per month for a small price. with that price you'll be lucky if they allow you to use a 100gb per month - sure they'll tell you it's "unlimited" but be sure you read the TOS first.

    You may go to lunarpages, $4.95 for unlimited space and unlimited bandwidth. But i don't think the so called "unlimited" is reliable. just as njoker555 said, read their TOS carefully before you make some decisions and be aware of hiden restrictions such as CPU usage. Some of my friends has been disappointed by those unlimited plans but i hope you good luck to find one!

    i need prob about 20mb, but im wanting to maybe host some of my software demos (another 100mb) and soon I will be hosting larger game demos i make which are around 2gb (large 3d games)
