Let's face it - it's time to go back into traditional advertising methods! For about 15 years now I've been a member of a very large collectors community that exists both online and offline. I've gained credibility, and also a very large database of names & addresses (all approved to receive mail as long as it meets their interests). My database includes hobbyists, buyers, sellers, traders and flip-ers. In a few weeks I will be sending out the first issue of a niche-specific monthly magazine (English), to over a THOUSAND recipients WORLDWIDE. I've limited it to about a thousand for now (there are a lot more than that), because the first issue will be complimentary and I want to see if there are enough sponsors so that it can be an ad-supported magazine. If not, it will be subscription-based. So I'm selling advert space to people interested in sponsoring the magazine.
