Can anyone recommend a web design software that has the following built in components (it would be ideal for photographers): #1. The ability for "members" to upload their own photos to the site....so my site could offer them for licensing #2. The ability to offer automatic downloads of clients who would "purchase" specific images off of my site #3. A built-in shopping cart for buyer convenience Anyone with feedback, insights and ideas on this would be great. Provide links if you can. Thank you.
Thanks Chandru. Are you using Joomla? Can you point me to a link? Basically I'd like the web software to be a sort of "set it / forget it" kind of website. People find it, then sign up and set up an account and could upload their photography. The site would then allow visitors the ability to "license" any of those uploaded images and pay for them through a built-in shopping cart. Are you familiar with anything similar? Maybe I'll search out Joomla on my own. Additional input / feedback appreciated . . . .

wp3.0 has the multiuser option merged into it... and there is wp ecommerce plugin is far advanced & reliable (accd to reviews) compared to other competitors. and to have a set-it-forget-it functionality, you will have to research a lot before you install anything... here is a list of few e-commerce plugins for wordpress with descriptions... hope this helps.
