Hey all, I'm looking for a very basic script that: a) lets people register to the site b) alows them to post there own content directly onto the site, using pre-defined formatting, similar to a news post c) has an admin panel to remove spam, maybe make categories and such Im looking for something very small and quick that can do all fo the above, I'm sure theres thousands of them out there, even free, I'm just drawing a blank right now, any help would be much appreciated.
I agree with Colbyt, wordpress and drupal are very popular that fit your needs. Search around and you will find lots of them. However, if you are looking for something unique and customize to your needs, then i build one for you.
thanks for the advice guys, I'm pretty fluent with joomla / wordpress, they are just far too heavy i think for what I need. I literally need the most basic of scripts so people can post a story directly to the page, requires registration and can be put into categories. unless i strip down joomla? but that sounds a little time consuming as I'm sure theres scripts out there that only do the things i need them to lol
