Have you tried doing some promotional work to actually get people to come to your site? I mean things like contests. A quick example that would be suitable for your site would be something along the lines of people getting entered into a raffle when they register. The winner of the raffle would then get a few ebooks of their choice. Also, try selling a few of the books you have on your site here on DP in the BST area. Sure, the earning might not be coming directly from your site, but at least you're making sales You could also try making a membership where people pay a certain amount per month and then get emailed the latest ebooks which you say you're adding everyday
Another point that I've jsut realised, is that your site is incredibly slow to load, and this is a problem you should definately address, unofrtunately it will probably mean a new hosting package, but when I first logged onto the site it took a while to load and it really put me off. It's a brilliant design, but, if I wasn't going to give you advice, I would have clicked off it before it had even loaded.
Your site looks good...professional. It didn't take long too load for me. Maybe add an affiliate program to the site? So that others will want to promote it for you. Also, a blog is a great way to market your site. Maybe you could add a blog to the site? Oh, and definitely add an optin and build a email list! Lisa
i was thinking about an affiliate programm but how do i get that workred out without spending a whole lot....also the site actually loads fast it depends sometimes on the server though!
Ah OK, must have just been my internet speed last night because I've just tried and it loads pretty quickly Affiliate programs will (99% of the time) be free. All you need to do is register and put the product up, and you get a commission of the sales. The only problem I can see with this is, if you can't sell any ebooks, how is doing affiliate going to help?
well im thinking making my own affiliate such as ads from books and have people display same for commission
Do you mean you'll sign up as an affiliate and sell others' products, or become a merchant and hire affiliates to sell your products? If it is the latter, then that's a pretty good idea and well worth a try, as you have nothing to lose
What if you concentrated on promoting just one ebook from your site. Pick one of your products that has a really good sales letter and promote that product. I would create a squeeze page and give away a free ebook, and then send them to the sales page for the ebook that you are promoting. Use the email addresses from your list to promote other ebooks on the site. You may want to do some article marketing and use your sig to point to your squeeze page. Maybe 4-5 articles per week.
