Looking for someone to promote affiliate program

I'm thinking about hiring (not in-house) someone to promote our affiliate program (to get more good affiliates to sign up and use it). Affiliate marketing is tricky - because just having an affiliate signup is one thing, and to have one who is actively sending sales is another.

As an experiment this month, I selected one affiliate who signed up, who seemed to have the most appropriate demographic for her website, and I contacted her and started a dialogue which lead to me writing some custom content for her. It produced results, and a good conversion rate.

I'm looking for someone who would be proactive like that. I know there are some companies/people that do this kind of service, but I don't know much about them. Any feedback would be appreciated.

(This is not meant to self-promote our affiliate program.)

    Hi Tennis,

My business is affiliate program promotion. My program is much different than what you mentioned, in fact no one on the planet does what I do. Anyway, not trying to get your business because I am very particular about the type of clients I take on and also pretty booked up with new programs right now.

One quick littlle suggestion - if it's the site in your profile is to add a link to your affiliate program on your site. If you want to call me for a free consult next week I can evaluate your needs and see if there is someone I can refer you to.

^^ Linda knows all the players; let her hook you up with the right match for your program.
