Hello, I've been having problems with spammers using my mail server as a relay and require somebody with a comprehensive knowledge to take a look and secure it if at all possible. I am already running with SMTP authorisation, though any spammer that uses a domain hosted on the server in the senders address is able to send mail. I am unsure quite as to why they can do this without having to provide any authentication information, but it is causing me no end of problems and I have had a nuber of complaints regarding illicit E-Mails coming from my server. Please give me your contact details (name, age, location, phone number where possible), references, plan of action and cost. I'm hoping this isn't a particularly big job, but it needs doing and I really haven't got the confidence to go tinkering with something I don't fully understand. It's more security than spam control - Something is configured incorrectly hence anybody is able to send E-Mail when it should only be somebody that has a correct username AND password.
