Hi all I'm going to be looking to getting a few sites at the top of the rankings for more competitive terms than I usually do. My usual habit (which has been successful) involves: Article writing/distrobution Directory links link exchanges Keyword usage - meta tags, description on page keywords For such competitive terms though, are there more "out of the box" methods that I could use? I'm open to any suggestions, and guidance on this one! Many thanks
If the topic is a little more competitive, you'll need to dip into purchasing links and stay away from link exchanges. Buy links "under the radar". Also, you need to become an authority, which means having authority type content and design. When doing that, you'll get links from large social media sites, which in-turn can produce a lot more links to your site.

I will be publishing a post on my blog with a beginners guide to link bait this week. www.blogstorm.co.uk/blog.php
