Welcome to DP @kcitywd! You are right in that this is a great place to connect with people from all over the world. I am based in Rhode Island in the U.S., for example. The best part is that you can find people with similar interests, experiences, and skills by participating in the specific sections of DP that interest you. Or, you can play around in sections like this with off-topic posts, etc. I always enjoy the give-and-take and wide variety of perspectives that can be found in almost any thread. I mostly hang out in the Business or Marketing sections because I am a sales/marketing guy. But, I probably have the most fun right here in this section.
