I like the site but may I make some suggestion to help you move up in the Google SERPs. First, all outbound links to other site, apply the “nofollow†attribute. Although you may feel reciprocal linking is a way of obtaining links, Google is busting everyone for it. Your site should be a PR 4 maybe PR5. Ditch this linking concept, it is hurting you. PM me for a better way. Second, I disagree with the concept of the “nofollow†attribute on any internal links. 2/3rds of your Page Rank comes from the internal pages. Third, your On-Page SEO has flaws based on poor keyword research. By using Googles’ AdWords Keyword Tool, look up the results for your two primary keyword phrases: “New Jersey Shore Rentals†“Jersey Shore Rentals†You wind up with the following single words: Summer Vacation House Beach NJ Home Real estate Houses Best Condos Lodging Family Realty Ocean Resorts VRBO Therefore apply them creatively to the primary SEO elements as followed: Currently <title>New Jersey Shore Rentals - Beach vacations at the NJ Shore!</title>Recommended: <title>Jersey Shore Rentals : Best New Jersey Summer Vacation Beach Homes - Condos, Houses, Family Lodging, Ocean Resorts – NJ Shore VRBO Rentals</title> Currently <meta name="description" content="Jersey Shore Rentals are a great way to save money on a beach vacation. You need to focus the Anchor Text on your selected keyword phrases.
According to the Google removal tool, the de-indexed page must return a 404. If I'm redirecting index.php using a 301, a 404 will not be returned. Should I still deindex this page? or is the redirect enough?
