I have used Kalina in the past (in exchange for a website link). This will be a paid job as I am looking for a company logo and a symbol (with two letters involved.) I need this done asap. Name your price and when you can have it done.

I will PM the company name to those who are interested.

New Computer, I recommend www.eagleimagery.co.uk - ask for Mark. He designed my logo, header on my main site and travel blog.

You can try www.DesignOutpost.com. It's great for lower budget projects, as you have several designers creating comps at the same time (then you get to choose which you like best).

I've had several clients who've used this service for logos and even web templates.

The hard part is finding quality designers willing to work for peanuts. Design Outpost is lucky, they've been able to find some talented folks. I doubt anyone in my area (San Francisco) could survive on $100 a logo. The cost of living is just too damn high. :(

Yeah - Every market has 'under-cutters'

When one auto shop will fix a car for $1000, theres another out there that will do it for $700. Sometimes the quality suffers, sometimes the service is better for whatever reason.

I always hear - you get what you pay for, but thats not always true. Some of the work I see on that site going for $100 is 10 times better than work I've seen go for $1000.

I know when my services are of value and I know when I'm out-matched.
Its part of the market - and the reason I keep a finger in several pies ;)
