I am really a forum lover so often I do not build websites but just only forum. Now I aways find it a bit hard to generate good traffic to a forum.

Do any of u have good tips, or tools (paid or not) or software that might help us out? Free or not that's not a problem.

    Thanks in advance.

In my opinion there is no software that will make this happen. It is just old fashion posting with signatures. The reason software can't do it is because in order to get traffic, you must provide something intelligent that contributes to the forum. For example, the previous post didn't contribute that much.

Try to get more registered members which result in more posts->more content->higher ranking->more traffic. There are no shortcuts.

    Hi Janneke

Why not start a blog - you obviously like writing so a blog should be pretty easy for you. Get a domain name, a hosting provider and an autoresponder. Offer a free report and in your blog you can talk about anything that interests you - like the two sites you are advertising here. Your free report could be on how to play bingo or the benefits of the drugs on the other site. Add it to your signature block here and any other forum that you are on. Just as you come here all the time you will get visitors to your blog.

I would consider a blog attached to your forum and vice versa, see what happens.

have you visited forumotion.com for ideas as they seem to have a forum for forum administrators who may have some good suggestions

Well to be honest, I hate blogging. I just do not have the time to keep it up to date, and automated blogs are not my thing either. Nah my thing really is foruming. And I wanna stick to that.

Anyway, targeting right keywords for your forum niches would be the top issue for traffic purpose. Also, trying to use social media for promotion would be another nice choice in generating instant traffics. Tools like tweetadder would be helpful.

    Have a nice day,
