    Hi, I'm curious if anyone can shed some light on this for me. I have been using the google webmaster tool for a little while now I finally was able to get my sitemap loaded and get pages indexed,

    my quesiton is; how do I tell google what keywords I want to target? does this still work with meta tags?

    I mean my site is articlemarketinggeek.com and the kw of choice would be article marketing so i figured it wouldn't be too hard to get listed for that seen it's satuarated on my site and in the url..

    any inside would be appreciated;

    Jeff

    Just setup the main keyword on the following:

    1. Title Tag - Your keyword (Google will see This)
    2. Meta Tags - Your keyword
    3. In your Headings put your keyword in H1 and H2.
    4. In content just make an optimized article with the keyword and make this as Contextual Link.
    5. Use the keyword as Anchor Text for your link building

    Contextual links refers to links that are well surrounded by rich keyword contents. i.e; if you want to target cheap computer keyword then you should need to write a good article and include your link in between the article with anchor text related to cheap computer

    You can point the link of the keyword from one page of your site to the other which are related to the keyword.

    Example: Your website solidsoul2009[dot]com, and the target keyword in the article is "Solid Soul 2009" you can link to the page, if you have a page like solidsoul2009[dot]/solid-soul-2009[dot]html, if not, you can link that any pages of the same site which are related to the keyword.
