OK, i'm new to ad words and have heard it to be very effective, i have a forum www.entrepreneurforum.co.uk - and would like to know what you think the most effective keywords would be for a good visitor - user registration? Do you suggest 'business forum' ?? or 'entrepreneur forum' ?? and what price should i be paying per click
I have a forum focused on anime. I use adwords and use the budget optimizer. My budget is $60/30days. Traffic is rising one I activate the ads. Very nice. So, I use the keyword that match my niche. If your forum is ford car based, then the keyword muct be ford car forum, not car forum. trying to list keywords that give an impression of what your forum is.
Another idea is to find a thread that exemplifies the value of your forum and then advertise that specific topic. If you are lucky, it won't cost much -- as it will be very relevant and specific -- and it will get people who should also be interested in other topics that would be found in your forums.
Entrepreneur is pretty vague, you may want to advertise the exact niches you're covering instead as keywords and clicks would be a bit cheaper that way.

IMHO you have a good niche but if you can define the industry also in the keyword than it will carry more weight
