Hello everyone. I'm rather new to the forums as a poster, but I've been a wanderer for a while. There's so much to learn. I'd hope some may take some time to read this, as all input is thoroughly appreciated.

Some information about myself. I'm an entrepreneur at heart, and I've had a very successful business opportunity which has allowed me to live a privileged life these last few years. I'm a student of education and many subjects, and honestly I thrive on knowledge. My life can consist of days where I operate no hours on the computer, to upwards of twenty hours online, reading, implementing, enacting, and so on. It's not uncommon that I spend hundreds of hours each week either running a business, or educating myself on various topics, sometimes only sleeping a few hours each night. I have a family, but work at home. The benefit of walking away any time I'd like is a blessing, but the sacrifice of family life is there at times, for the betterment of everyone. They understand. Work, means work. While they understand that work means work, they also understand that they live a very comfortable life, and to continue that lifestyle, sacrifice is a must.

I've reached a pivotal point in my life. My current business is in limbo to the point where it has room for unlimited potential for the next decade, or it could be complete, all depending on how things unfold. I don't sit well with limbo, and the unknowing. As a student of many subjects, I decided a year or two ago to educate myself in graphic design, website design, some SEO and article submission information, and I've donated some considerable money into this endeavor. I have multiple softwares to do the job, such as article spinners, submitters, dreamweaver, graphical programs, and various site builders, so I'm aware of the "online" type of world I suppose. I can design a website, set it up best for SEO structure, and both produce articles with ease and submit them anywhere. I take pride in self education, as that's nothing I would have learned within the school system in a respectable time frame.

I'm a fairly patient individual. By my calculations, I can live income free for quite some time, but again, that doesn't sit well with me. I'm a man who believes of earning his worth, time and time again, and I must work towards a goal. My goal, at this moment in time, is towards a seven figure income.

I've spent a lot of money on affiliate marketing subjects. I've learned a lot, but I don't believe the entire picture is complete for me yet. Affiliate marketing is my dream, and what I strive for, and there's a lot to learn. I have in my disposal, about 50 to 75 PR3+ directories which I can submit articles to routinely. In addition, I've applied to two directories, author positions which I've been accepted. I believe one was Buzzle, and the other Suite 101, different from typical submission directories I find. One I believe PR6 and the other PR7. While I believe I write well, these directories claim to offer review from a week, to upwards of a month. My application approved in a day from both. Perhaps that policy, perhaps I was lucky, I'm not sure.

Anyways, why this long article? Well, I come to you in completely honesty and sincerity to ask what I hope to be a simple question. In the world of affiliate marketing, do you find it more profitable to work with affiliate promotions such as Clickbank products, or simply Adsense websites only, or a mix? What tactics do you find to work? While I don't claim to be a professional in affiliate marketing, I do understand there is significant income to made in the field, and I have the resources to do so. Whether it's creating countless article links, or numerous websites on niche topics, I have no issue with this. My concern, is what type of affiliate promotion do you find best works? I'm not looking for the holy grail, I'm only looking for more pieces of the puzzle. Do you have more pieces of the puzzle for me, or perhaps links to information I could find handy for my situation?

Thank you kindly if you've made it this far.
