My server is not working in normal mode, ssh is also not opening, but i am able to ping it. this same problem happened with me last time about 40 days ago, and 1 guy fixed it and said it was iptables problem... so now i thought it must be same problem, but this time 1 guy from webhostingtalk already checked that and he said it not that... and he is not able to understand what the problem is... so if anyone can help me out fix the server... i can pay $10 max.... let me know Regards...
I will be more then happy to have a look and see if i can fix it for no cost, If you would like me to have a look send me a pm with the IP and root password and I will get to it as soon as i have a minute!
Please let me know if you know how to work in rescue mode... but if u don't know about it, then please don't try... only contact if u have full knowledge about it..
Yes, i know how to, in red hat its called rescue mode, in ubuntu and debian its called sandbox, so I'm assuming your using a BSD based OS. i can probably fix it.
as i said, i can try to help, let me know if your interested, obviously i can't guarantee anything, if the server won't work, you don't pay (i won't break anything).
i don't mean to show off, but i'm a network engineer, everyday monitoring servers forget my offer, i'm a little bit busy now, good luck!
first of all if you are not able to ssh then nobody can ssh into it Rescue mode is even difficult to work on and that works only when you are accessing the server physically you will need to take services of your network admin what you can do is ask them to load server on new hard disk and attach the old hard disk as usb ,will help you to take backup of sites i hope it helps Regards Alex
