Looking for serious advice about how to monetize my creative genius

I have tons of ideas for iPhone applications, household products, clothing, etc. I'm a bit of a creative genius. I've written down each idea on a separate text file, but I have no idea how to monetize my creative genius. I've contacted companies like Source Bits, the Imaginary Foundation, and Simple Human, but none have wanted to pay me for my ideas. Of course, they'd have to hire me in some fashion before I would give them my ideas freely.

How do I find an existing company, organization, or infrastructure to monetize my creativity without giving away my ideas beforehand, come up with detailed venture capital presentations, or get my ideas stolen by some schmuk with a two-bit company that just wants to rip off my ideas.

good question - I invented something a few years back (check my sig) and it took a looooong time to get my patent. I sold it for 4 years patent pending. I had the same questions as you (well, same but different) and went through some of the same channels to no avail.

I'd be interested in helping you if I can, who knows, you might have some killer ideas! :)

    send me a pm

It is scary trying to get something created when you don't have the money to do it yourself.

You need to get your ideas patented first before anything else. It is your intellectual property if it is really original in its very sense. If it is not patented yet, your ideas can leak and you can't get it back.
