Looking for Search Engine Script with Spider

Can anyone recommend a search engine script that that allows me to limit the sites that I wish to spider? Thanks.

Why try to reinvent the wheel??

 

How crazy do you want to get? You can start with low level scripts like PHPDig all the way up to the Cadillac of open source search Nutch. To run Nutch though you will be doing a LOT of reading but it pays off in the end. Really awesome side project.

 

i know that there is se "morfeo" which is used by some big portals in europe

 

make your own i recommend

 

Go to happar.com and look at the video, it is these most precise engine around.

Find another way to make some money

 

astanda.com looks like a directory or something else entirely.
oxysearch.com is a search engine site, a meta engine at that.
Nutch is java based? and it looks like a real heavy duty SE.
Can't find anything on morfeo.
Um, maybe sphider try www.sphider.eu/ it's small scale and might be what you are after.
