Looking for Reliable Ad Network (CPM or CPC) for Alexa 3k site (1m daily impressions)

I need an ad network. I have 3 right now but one just lost it's top advertisers and asked me to remove the code. Another I'm using for 2 ad positions. The third just pays terribly.

I don't qualify for Adsense and top networks like Casale and TribalFusion have rejected me because of content. However I have no adult content and comply with almost all ad network TOS/AUP but my site is ..well how to phrase it...a bit of a hot button as it's a hackers forum.

I have basically one top fold (header) 728x90 ad position that is now open. It serves about 600k daily impressions with a CTR of about 1% or more. I can consider CPC or CPM. I will not do CPA, popups, or popunders.

If anyone with a reliable ad network wants to discuss this withe me please send me a PM.

Have you tried contextweb, they are close if not better in some niches than adsense. You could also try burstmedia but they are very much like tribal..

If you can get ContextWeb to accept you, then they're pretty good. The hacker stuff might not fly with them, though. Doesn't hurt to try anyways.

    Burst also denied me. :(

My content scares some networks. Not all...but some. Especially the big boys. Unfortunate too as I'd probably make $2k a day with a big network.

Just signed up with contextweb. I'll see how that goes. I just want a reliable network to pay me monthly and serve good impressions. Seems like such a hassle with so many ad networks that suck or scam.

Its very simple, i can almost guarantee that you will not get 100% CPM fill. So you have bit in the pillow when it comes to CPA.
Best you can do is some Right Media networks like Matomy Xtend, Yieldads, and those like them. They are (mostly)Performance networks.

I run my private network, and i got some better control over things.

    Hi,

My suggestions - cpx - xtenmedia - clickwinks - valueclickmedia - 100% reliable pay in time. All pay via PayPal.
    Best Regards

Valueclick got stright rules about who they serve, you might get in, but they will not likely keep him around when they check his content.

Seems alot of you guys write the same lines everytime, recommending the same companies. You need to read his post and make a note that he has some special content. And he also want something stable.

It's computer security and tech related (hacking) but we have 11 million posts and most are in general topics. Again I have 3 networks that run ads from big feeds just fine. But I need one or two more to rotate and I definitely have a spot open that's a premium position.

    Hi there,

Great to see you on DP. I was a MyBB Central subscriber. Not sure if I am now or I have cancelled it but great work. Has it shut down now as I just saw 403 forbidden there. Nowadays I do not use forums that easily due to spam problem but great going anyways.

You can try ContextWeb if you have good amount of US traffic and if they approve. Their payments are good. YieldAds is another option but I personally did not like their rates when I tried. Cpxinteractive is another good one. There are quite a few options but not many of them would be that great paying unless you have awesome traffic. Is it a tech site or completely dedicated to hacking. Adsense does not have any problems with tech sites.

ContextWeb shot me down with a reason "hacking content" even though that's a very obscure statement and they don't have that as part of their content not allowed list. Wikipedia has "hacking content". Frustrating but what can I do.

GOA accepted me. A ton of my traffic and members are into gaming. So it should be a good fit as long as CPM is decent. I'll see how it goes.
