Looking For Recommendation On Where To Sell My Product

I make items (such as scarves) from yarn made from renewable resources like cotton, wool, etc

I am looking for suggestions on sites where I can promote my site and/or sell my products.

I've set up a blog in blogger to showcase my items since a blog makes it very easy to add new items when I complete them.

I don't want to use eBay

And I am already using Craigslist.

    Suggestions?

    Thanks for any help

Look for other blogs and forums related to you product. You can also write articles using keywords related to your products or niche.

I am thinking there is a site that might fit your needs,

    www.etsy.com

Its a marketplace to buy and sell things that are handmade.:)

Well, it depends on how much money you want to make.

If you want to, say, pay your rent, you are going to have to advertise.

And even then, anything les than advertising won't help you much.

Not to sound like a stuck record in saying that, but....

Find sites that its visitors may like your products. If you can, take the extra step in advertising by doing a video on your products. Maybe of you wearing the scarf. Put the video in other sites.

One of our stores is selling silk scarves. Maybe you can place an ads there or links exchange. PM me if you're interested.

Have you ever thought of promoting with a video on YouTube?

ebay is a great way to get your visibility out there. I say why not use it and also promote on the other local sites. Check into craft sites and art sites they should be interested in carrying your items in stock.

unless you want to sell them all yourself I would tyr to get them placed in stores or boutiques

You can find sites that are similar to yours or your audience and start from there.
